Well, here we are. Another year, gone. Que cliche montage music.
But seriously, is it just me or did this year go by really fast? I guess it seems like that every year.
A lot of things happened this year that would take all day to write out in this blog. I’m not gonna do that. I’ve never really been one to reminisce on the past. I think I’m too young for that. Maybe when I’m old.
I’ve lost friends and gained new ones.
Fell in love but got rejected.
Found new passions and revived old ones.
And every year, I start to find out a little bit more about myself. I don’t think we ever fully know who we are, but I think we come pretty damn close. And that’s my New Years Resolution.
My New Years Resolution is simply to keep doing what I’m doing, and be cool with it. Hell, I’m not doing anything I’m not supposed to. I’m in university, hanging out with friends, spending time with family, keeping up with religion and most importantly, I’m still thinking. I think a lot, and I hope that won’t ever stop. So as long as I keep doing all of the above, I should be alright for the New Year.
Although I wouldn’t mind getting a personal trainer and getting into shape.
And maybe also getting a few more acting opportunities! (BTW, stay tuned for a short TV pilot project I did called “Fanboys”!)
Tonight I’m going to a friend’s New Years Eve party, which should be fun! I pretty much only started celebrating New Years about 2 years ago, and each year my friends and I went down to Nathan Phillip Square in Toronto for the big New Years bash. It’s pretty lame, except for the countdown and the fireworks. That is ALWAYS amazing!
Let’s just hope 2012 is going to be a big year for all of us, I have a feeling it will be. Just kidding! But seriously, have you SEEN the movie line up for 2012?
The Dark Knight Rises! The Avengers! The Hobbit! Prometheus! The Amazing Spiderman! Skyfall!
Well anyway, I’m gonna wrap this up. I just want to wish you all a safe and Happy New Year! And even though I don’t condone it, but if you are going to drink, call AAA and they’ll drive you home for free. Or call a cab. Don’t be stupid. (A message from a concerned blogger.)
